T-ID
T-ID modules are used to identify strain gages, especially in multi-channel systems for experimental stress analysis. Using a special data mode, a
unique, 64-bit-long identification number that has been stored in the T-ID module and cannot be erased is read out via the same cable connections
that are used to transmit the analog measurement **s. For this purpose, a special circuit is used, which requires specially equipped amplifiers
(see list below).
A patented circuitry is used which prevents that the additional digital information processing affects the highly sensitive and precise analog
measurement **. Similar to a solder tag, the T-ID modules can be accomodated close to the strain gage.
